Order Help

You can order images online in the Download Zone or Download Zone Lite. Download Zone pages can be reached by searching for an image or by clicking the Download Zone links located in the top and side menubars.

On the Download Zone pages you will see the most recent additions to the Web site. Clicking on a small image or the text below it will open a larger version of that image on a Image Information page. Here you will find detailed information about the image and will be prompted to log in to view prices, formats and file sizes.

On the Image Information pages you can:

  • log in to choose from available image sizes and formats.
  • opt to purchase by clicking the corresponding price button.
  • use Conflict Check to avoid embarrassing conflicts with a rival publication.
  • view your Pricing Profile.
Immediately after the Image Information pages you will see the 'Buy and Download Now' page. On this page you can choose your currency and payment options.

On the Buy and Download Now page you can:

  • purchase an image using your Client Billing Account.
  • pay for images using Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
  • view prices in another currency using the pop-up menu.
Remember: To order images online you must be a registered user and you must be logged in during your current visit. Links to the Register page are located on the Home and Download Zone pages. If you attempt to purchase an image without logging in, you will be prompted to do so.

Billing & Payment

Immediately after the Image Information pages you will see the 'Buy and Download Now' page. On this page you can choose your currency and payment options.

On the Buy and Download Now page you can:

  • purchase an image using your Client Billing Account.
  • pay for images using Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
  • view prices in another currency using the pop-up menu.
Purchase Using Billing Account
To purchase and download an image using your billing account, press the corresponding download button on the 'Buy and Download Now' page. You will be invoiced for your purchase. Please see the Client Billing Accounts page for more detailed information.

Purchase & Download using a Credit Card
Use Visa, MasterCard or American Express to purchase and download an image. All information is transmitted securely. Enter your credit card information in the space provided and press the corresponding download button. Please enter your credit card number WITHOUT spaces or hyphens.

Choosing Another Currency
On the 'Buy and Download Now' page you can view your purchase in the currency of your choice. Use the 'Choose Your Currency' drop-down menu on the left-hand side to choose your desired currency. Click the 'Update' button to reload the page. This will show you the approximate price equivalent in your local currency. Please see the Currency Exchange page for more detailed information.

What is GST?

The Goods and Services Tax is a national tax of 5% applied to all purchases made within Canada. This tax applies only to customers ordering from within Canada. If you are not based in Canada, you will not be charged GST on your purchase.

Please note: The Canadian provincial HST tax is not charged or collected by Artizans.

Downloading Images

It is not possible to purchase more than one image at a time in the Download Zone. If you wish to purchase two or more images, re-enter the Download Zone and repeat the process for each image. Choose between two methods of delivery on the Image Download page. You can e-mail the image to the address you registered with (not recommended for hi-resolution color images) or download the image using your Web browser.

When downloading an image file, pay close attention to what the file is named and where you are saving it to on your computer.

You will have access to a file for 96 hours from the time of first download. Go to the 'My Account > View Orders' page to re-download your file. If you have persistent difficulties downloading, or if the file appears corrupt when you try to open it, contact Artizans by e-mail.
